4. Data Collection on Our Website
4.1 Cookies
Our website uses what are known as cookies in some places. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. They help make our services more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are being set and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
4.2 Cookie Banner
When you visit our website for the first time, we display a cookie banner where you can consent to the use of cookies or customize your preferences. Your consent or preferences are saved so that you are not prompted again on each visit.
4.3 Types of Cookies
We use different types of cookies on our website:
- Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for the basic functions of the website and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics Cookies: These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting and analyzing information anonymously.
- Marketing Cookies: These cookies are used to show visitors relevant and engaging advertisements on other websites.
4.4 Server Log Files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website - for this purpose, the server log files must be collected. Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.
4.5 Booking Source Detection
When you request a ride via our booking form, we store — together with your booking — information about how you reached our website. This comprises:
- the web address of the page you came from (referrer)
- campaign parameters from the URL you used (so-called UTM parameters: source, medium, campaign, term, content)
- the Google Ads click identifier (gclid), if you arrived via a Google ad
- the first page of our website you visited (landing page)
This information is held solely in your browser (session storage) and is only transmitted to us when you submit a booking. It is then stored together with your booking on our server in the EU. No cookies are set for this purpose and no data is shared with third parties.
The purpose of this processing is to understand through which channels (e.g. search engine, advertisement or referral) our bookings arise, in order to commercially assess and improve our website and advertising.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the commercial analysis and optimisation of our online offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As this information forms part of the respective booking record, the retention periods stated in section 6 apply accordingly.
4.6 Audience Measurement (visit statistics)
For audience measurement we record, in pseudonymous form, how visitors reach our website. For each page view we store on our own server in the EU:
- the page visited,
- the web address of the referring page (referrer),
- any campaign parameters (UTM, Google Ads click identifier gclid),
- the time of the request;
- pseudonymous usage events for reach and funnel analysis (e.g. whether a price was displayed, which steps of the booking form were reached, whether a booking was submitted) as well as your cookie-consent choice.
No cookies are set for this and nothing is stored on or read from your device. Your IP address is not stored; it is used only briefly to compute a daily-rotating, irreversible hash that lets us count the number of unique visitors per day without identifying you. Because the underlying key changes every day, recognition across multiple days is not possible. No data is shared with third parties.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and optimisation of our website and advertising pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies or similar technologies that enable an analysis of your use of the website.
Google Analytics 4 collects IP addresses in anonymised form by default; IP addresses are not logged or stored permanently. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website may be transferred to Google servers, including in the USA. For transfers to the USA, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023); the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
We also advertise our services via Google Ads. If you reach us through an advertisement, Google technologies may be used to measure whether a booking results (conversion measurement, where applicable via the link with Google Analytics 4). Marketing-related cookies or identifiers may be set in this context.
The use of Google Analytics 4 and conversion measurement for Google Ads take place solely on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 for the storage of / access to information on your device. Without consent, no analytics or marketing cookies are set (Google Consent Mode: analytics_storage and ad_storage = "denied"). You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings.

The legal basis for processing booking data (name, contact, address and travel data) is the performance of the transport contract or the taking of pre-contractual steps pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. 9. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
For security reasons, this website uses TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption, recognisable by the padlock symbol or "https://" in your browser's address bar. This protects the data transmitted between your browser and our server.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. The current version is always available on our website. Please visit the website regularly to stay informed about any updates.
